MEDIC Training Solutions opened in December 2002. In a short while, what started as a collaboration between Kelly Grayson, CCEMT-P and Richard Pace, NREMT-P, now employs three paramedics, four registered nurses, two nurse-paramedics and a physician as instructors. We primarily offer on-site continuing education and certification courses to community hospitals and specialty hospitals throughout north Louisiana and south Arkansas. At MEDIC Training Solutions, our motto is “have manikins, will travel,” so no course is too far. We regularly travel as far south as the Louisiana coast for courses.

We are the exclusive provider for ACLS, PALS and BLS courses at nine hospitals in Louisiana, and offer courses on as-needed basis at several other sites. Our specialty is offering quality education to hospitals or EMS agencies that may be too small to house their own in-house education departments. In 2002, both Kelly Grayson and Richard Pace were recognized by the American Heart Association for their accomplishments as instructors. Kelly was awarded the AHA Regional Faculty of the Year, and Richard was recognized with the AHA’s Star of Life Award. Kelly was also recognized as the EMS Instructor Coordinator of The Year by the Louisiana Association of Nationally Registered EMTs. Since 2000, Richard and Kelly have taught an average of 50 ACLS and PALS courses per year, making them the most active instructors in Louisiana.
